 Alexa Kentucky Bluegrass — Alexa is an improved very dark green Kentucky bluegrass variety classified as a “Midnight type” of improved Kentucky bluegrass that exhibits a compact short plant height and medium leaf texture. Alexa exhibits late spring green-up and is very tolerant of low mowing heights. It is a cold hardy, persistent, attractive grass that through the development of an extensive rhizome system forms a well-knit, durable sod. Alexa is adapted to a wide range of soils and climatic conditions. |
